A Junghans Aircraft Clock (J30BZ) as used in ME109

This is a late delivery clock, likely issued to the luftwaffe in between 1942-45. As such it was commonly used in the ME Bf 109. Metal casing with a glass face, weighing 166 grams, main clock gradated in sixty parts and marked at the 3, 9 and 12 positions, with an outer ring gradated in sixty parts and marked at the 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55 positions and marked with a downward pointing arrow at the 60 position. The hour and minutes hands are luminescent, as is the tip of the second hand, along with all numbers and gradations. There is an inset clock at what would be the 6 position, gradated in fifteen parts and marked at the 0, 5 and 10 positions with a small luminescent hand. The metal casing has two upward-pointing adjustments on the bottom edge of the frame, with a circular copper plate on the underside numbered "871649", with holes in all four corners of the frame for placement in the aircraft's cockpit. The face of the clock measures 57.5 mm in diameter, with the entire unit measuring 61 mm x 81 mm x 38.5 mm overall. It exhibits light contact on the glass face, four luminescent dots missing at the 52 to 55 positions on the outer ring, light contact and paint wear evident on the frame, better than very fine.
