A First War Italian 1st Infantry Division War Medal 1915-1918

In bronze, engraver marked "L ROSSIGNOLI", obverse illustrating the Italian eagle on the left attacking a German eagle lying on its back on the right, reverse inscribed "1a DIVISIONE DI FANTERIA GUERRA 1915-1918" inside an open-ended wreath composed of laurel leaves on the left and oak leaves on the right, 26 mm, scattered oxidation and spotting evident on the obverse, light contact, very fine.
