A 1933 Bronze A.H. Schicksalwende Medal

A 1933 Bronze (Tombac) Adolf Hitler “Turning Point” medal; maker marked “Byer Hauptmünzamt” on the side; measuring 36 mm in diameter; 3 mm indentation on the collar but otherwise better than fine condition. Footnote: This is a commemorative medal for the election of Hitler as the Reichs Chancellor of Germany. The obverse has a bust of Hitler facing left surrounded by the inscription, “Unsere die Zukunft - Adolf Hitler” (Ours is the Future - Adolf Hitler. The reverse features an eagle with broken shackles and a shield displaying a rounded swastika. The inscirption reads “Im Jahre deutscher Schicksalwende - 1933” (In the year of the turning point of German Destiny - 1933)
