Wehrsport-Treffen Der Stahlhelm Bund Der Frontsoldaten Gau Rheinpfalz Landau badge (1-2.VII.1933); In die stamped bronze, horizontal pin; unmarked; measuring 31 mm in diameter; better than very fine condition. Footnote: Der Stahlhelm is a paramilitary organization that arose after the German defeat of World War I. It was a part of the “Black Reichswehr” and operated in the late days of the Weimar Republic as the armed branch of the national conservative German National People’s Party (DNVP).
