Description: Consists of two pieces: a lid and bottom, die-stamped tin with a gold-coloured wash, magnetic, lid illustrating the bell with eagle over five conjoined rings insignia of the Berlin Summer Games, surmounted by the Olympic Games five conjoined rings insignia, bottom illustrating a chariot with a rider holding a staff and led by a team of four horses, inscribed "XI OLYMPIADE" above and "BERLIN 1936" below, 57.8 mm, scattered oxidation spots, free of dents, better than very fine.
