An Imperial Austrian First War Medal Bar with Seven Awards, mounted to a suspension with swing bar pinback, with 1) Medal For Bravery (Tapferkeitsmedaille), 2nd Class; 1866-1916; in silver; obverse with the head and shoulders of Emperor Franz Joseph facing right, circumscribed “Franz Joseph I, by the Grace of God Emperor of Austria; reverse inscribed “For Bravery”, encircled by a laurel wreath; measuring 31 mm in diameter; with loop for suspension; original ribbon. 2) Medal For Bravery (Tapferkeitsmedaille), 3rd Class; 1866-1916 issue; in bronze; obverse with the head and shoulders of Emperor Franz Joseph facing right, circumscribed “Franz Joseph I, by the Grace of God Emperor of Austria); reverse inscribed “For Bravery”, encircled by a laurel wreath; measuring 31 mm in diameter; with loop for suspension; original ribbon. 3) Karl Troop Cross (Karl-Truppenkreuz), instituted 1916; in war material alloy, the obverse inscribed “Grati Princeps Et Patria Carolvs Imp. Et Rex” (A grateful prince and country, Karl, Emperor and King); the reverse inscribed “Viet et Sangviem” (with life and blood); with double loop for suspension; on original ribbon; measuring 29 mm x 29 mm. 4) Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 (Das Ehrenkreuz des Weltkriegs 1914/1918); in plated bronze; the obverse depicts a laurel wreath encirling a medallion, with the dates “1914 1918”, with crossed swords between the arms; the reverse blank; loop for suspension; on original ribbon. 5) Great War Commemorative Medal (Kriegserinnerungsmedaille) 1914-1918; in gilt bronze; on the obverse an Austrian eagle, inscribed “Für Österreich” (For Austria); the reverse inscribed “1914 1918” and maker marked “Grienauer” encircled by a border of oak leaves; on loop for suspension; original ribbon with swords; measuring 36 mm in diameter. 6) Austrian Pro Deo Et Patria Commemorative Medal (Für Gott und Vaterland) 1914-1918; in silvered bonze; on obverse a Hungarian coat of arms surmounted by a crown, with swords behind the shield, and encircled by a laurel wreath; the reverse depicts an Imperial steel helmet, “1914 1918”, encircled by a half wreath; loop for suspension; on original ribbon; measuring 37 mm in diameter. 7) Province of Tyrol Remembrance Medal (Tiroler Landesdenkenmünze); in bronze gilt; the obverse depicts the Tirolean Eagle; the reverse inscribed “Das Land Tirol Den Verteidigern Des Vaterlandes 1914-1918” (The Tirol Province - To the Defenders of the Homeland 1914-1918) surrounded by an oak leaf wreath; on loop for suspension; original ribbon; measuring 34 mm in diameter. Scattered light contact marks and gilt wear from use, light soiling on ribbons; very fine condition.
