A Luftwaffe Enlisted/NCO belt buckle, published on page 133 of John R. Angolia’s “Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich”; in stamped aluminum; with pebbled field and a full oval laurel leaves wreath and the Luftwaffe national emblem; first pattern notable by the eagle’s droop tail; in stamped aluminum, unmarked; measuring 63 mm x 47 mm; better than extremely fine condition.

Angolia, who start collecting buckles, belts and brocades from 1944 until around 1990; most of the buckles were obtained from the American and German veterans; most of these buckles present a core of Angolia’s book “Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich”, published in 2001.
