Medal (in shape of the cross) in silver, silver gilt and enamels, 47.3mm x 47.05mm, pin back, frame of the cross in silver, unmarked, in extremely fine condition and very scarce. An excellent example. Footnote: although in the shape of the cross, the official name of this award is “Rote Kreuz Medaille 1. Klasse. “ (Red Cross Medal 1st class).
