Official re-strike of the 1942 Archduke Ferdinand Charles of Austria Schautaler; in silver; modified to be worn on a ribbon - unknown original ribbon; measuring 27 mm in diameter.
Footnote: This re-strike was done by the Vienna Mint. The original was a gold coin. These coins were not struck to be circulated, but to be shown, as the word “Schautaler” (Loosely translated - Demonstrative Coin” implies. The coin was originally circulated in 1642 in honour of the passing of Ferdinand Charles Archduke of Austria, Duke of Burgundy, and Count of Tirol.
