A Korean Order of Civil Merit; Fifth Class (Seongnyu Medal)

1st Type (1951-1967) (Republic of Korea, South Korea): Three-piece construction, bronze gilt with red, white and green enamels, number impressed "1560" on the reverse, 27.8 mm x 40.8 mm, bar suspension with red enamelled downward-facing crescent moon, original ribbon with pinback, intact enamels, scratches evident on the reverse, very light contact, extremely fine.

Footnote: The order was instituted on December 22, 1951 and awarded to civilian employees of the government and the military for outstanding service, in five grades.
