In brass; measuring 114 mm x 120 mm; slightly bent but otherwise very fine condition.

Footnote: The Kingdom of Württemburg was one of the last of the German states to adopt the Pickelhaube. The shako plate features a lion to the left and a buck to the right; both supporting a shield bearing the coat of arms of Württemberg. The scroll at the bottom of the shield features the motto "Furchtlos und Trew" (Fearless and True). It was worn only by the Würtemberg Train-Bataillon Nr. 13.
