Z. 127 “Graf Zeppelin” on its first flight around the world in 1929. The picture shows the airship flying over a bridge in a city. The words “Graf Zeppelin” are visible on the side. A sticker asks to please return the card to Rudolph Dinnebier, New York. The back features several stamps. One states the departure city, Friedrichshafen at the Bodensee (Lake Constance), and the destination: Tokyo. It is addressed to the Bank of Taiwan, Ltd., Osaka, Japan. The stamp on the postage (2 Reichsmark) states the date of departure: Aug 15th. Another stamp dates the arrival of the card in Osaka to Aug 21st.
