A certificate for the award of the “Erdkampfabzeichen der Luftwaffe” (Ground Assault Badge of the Luftwaffe) for “Obergefreiter” (senior lance-corporal) Heinz Oldenburg. It was awarded “in the name of the commander-in-chief of the Luftwaffe”, Hermann Göring, who was the donor of this award. Generally it was awarded for three participation in fights at the front on three different days. The award was given at combat headquarters (Gefechtsstand) on Feb 18th, 1944, awarded by the Higher Signal Commander Air Fleet Command 4, a Major General. In 1944, the Air Fleet Command 4 flew campaigns in Hungary and Romania.
