Sterling silver, front cover ornately engraved and bearing an affixed RCNVR insignia in sterling silver with red, white and blue enamels, maker marked "BIRKS", marked "STERLING" and engraved "Julie with love Bert" in running script on the back cover, black and white photo of the seaman wearing his HMCS tally ribbon placed in the frame on the inside front cover, the inside back cover frame left blank, ornate ring suspension, hinged on the right side, 25.5 mm x 40 mm x 9 mm, contact marks, very fine.
