An Early Czechoslovakian Balloon-Pilot Breast Badge

Silver wreath, with an attached gilt eagle and a pair of crossed cannons, two clip fasteners, 59.4mm x 63.0mm, stamped “925”, of excellent quality manufacture, in very fine condition.

Footnote: this is a very rare badge as there were very few balloon personnel in the Czech Military - apparently only two companies. The observer badge was identical with the colors reversed. The cannons were to indicate the primary purpose of the balloon force which was artillery observation.
