1889-1910 issue; five-armed silver star with ball-tipped finials; the obverse with a five-armed bronze star in high relief; the reverse with the Congolese motto “Work and Progress”; four medal bars on the original ribbon (one bar for every 3 years of service); french mounting pin; measuring 30 mm x 31 mm; ribbon lightly soiled, better than fine condition overall.
