1st Class: bronze gilt, 36.5 mm x 58.5 mm inclusive of its crown suspension, original ribbon with hook and eye; and 2nd Class: silvered bronze, 36.2 mm x 58 mm inclusive of its crown suspension, original ribbon with hook and eye. Scattered gilt and silvering wear, near extremely fine.

Footnote: The Loyal Service Cross was instituted on November 11, 1906, in celebration of the fortieth anniversary of King Carol’s appointment as Domnitor of the Principality of Romania, to be awarded for long and faithful service to the Kingdom of Romania. During the Second World War period, it was awarded for military services, to both Romanians and members of the Axis forces.
