Artillerie-Vereinigung München (heavy artillery association Munich). The state association of the members of the former K. B. (Königlich Bayerische) Schwere Artillerie (Royal Bavarian heavy artillery) gives thanks and appreciation for outstanding merit. The certificate should serve as proof. It is dated to Aug 8th, 1925. The Royal Bavarian army existed until 1919, when it became part of an all-German army. The certificate features a picture by painter Oskar Merte (1873–1938) showing a trek of soldiers, some on foot, some on horseback, marching through the country and passing through a wartorn village.
