Upper in gray wool with a prop and wings insignia above the number "1" below in red embroidery, brown reinforcing stitching along all five edges, with a magnetic silvered button in the buttonhole for uniform attachment, the button held in place via a toothpick, navy blue wool underside, 52 mm x 130 mm each, traces of black threading remaining from uniform attachment, both boards exhibiting mothing and light soiling on their uppers, while the bottom edges show wear, contact marks on the buttons, tips of the reinforcing strips protrude from the sleeves on the reverse, fine.
