A Luftwaffe Hermann Göring Division Enlisted Man's Side Cap 1935

This side cap is fabricated from black cotton, with a fold down panel that extends around the full length of the cap and a quality embroidered light gray Luftwaffe eagle on a black wool base sewn upon the peak of the cap at the front. The interior is lined in black cotton, marked on the left side in white ink with the "CLEMENS WAGNER BRAUNSCHWEIG-HAMBURG" maker mark, dated "SEP 1935" and size marked "57 1/2". The cap measures 110 mm x 280 mm, exhibiting creasing in the fabric on the exterior, lightly soiled. Near extremely fine.
