A Luftwaffe Enlisted Man's/NCO's Tropical Side Cap

This is an excellent example that rates near mint. It is fabricated from light yellowish-brown cotton, with two rising peaks forming a valley between the two, fold down side panels, the front with a machine embroidered gray Luftwaffe eagle on a light yellowish-brown cotton patch sewn in place on the peak, embroidered tri-colour cockade sewn in place on the fold down flap below the eagle. The interior is lined in butterscotch-coloured cotton and is unmarked. The cap measures 110 mm x 260 mm, lightly soiled on the right side on the exterior, near mint.
