Measuring 9 x 14 cm; A postcard showing a drawn picture of Generalfeldmarschall Erwin Rommel. It carries a strong signature in pencil, as well as Rommel’s facsimile. Extremely fine.

Footnote: Erwin Rommel (1891–1944) received the Pour le Merite in the First World War. In the Second World War, he initially fought in France, then in the North African Campaign. He gained a reputation as one of the most able German commanders, and received the honorary nickname “Wüstenfuchs” (Desert Fox). He was one of only 27 recipients of the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords, and Diamonds.
