A 1933 Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps (NSKK) 2000 Kilometer Durch Deutschland badge; in gilt bronze; horizontal pinback; unmarked; measuring 42 mm x 28 mm; very fine condition.
Footnote: The 2000 Kilometer Through Germany is a Rallye that was first launched in 1933. Nearly 2000 cars drove nonstop from Baden-Baden for 2000 km through Munich, Saxony, Berlin, Cologne, back to Baden-Baden. The winner of the first Rallye was an Opel - it took 26 hours and 23 minutes to complete the loop with an average speed of 79 km/h. The Oldtimer Rallye is still held on an annual basis in Germany today.
