A German Imperial Kreuz der Deutschen Ehrenlegion (Ritterschaft Bismarck); in silvered bronze and white, black, and green enamels; maltese cross with four arms with swords; the obverse with a centered medallion depicting an early Iron Cross, circumscribed “Deutsche Ehrenlegion” (German Honour Legion), surrounded by an oak wreath; vertical pinback and maker marked “Kleist, Berlin, Brückenstraße” on reverse; measuring 44 mm x 42 mm; better than very fine condition.
