This is a very well preserved cigarette case, constructed of leather on the upper and lower side with a nickel-plated metal (magnetic) core; It features a functional push-button opening and very smooth hinges. The interior appears gilded with two (one on each side) spring-loaded flaps to hold the cigarettes in place. The top of the case features a plate of an early type SA belt buckle (note the sunshine-wheel swastika), and is embossed in black with “NSDAP”. The case is in worn condition, with marks on the leather from wear, but is overall extremely well preserved.
