An Imperial Austrian Order of the Iron Crown, 1st Class

First Class Badge, in bronze gilt and enamels, 46.4mm x 80.5mm, marked with "star" mark on reverse, circa 1917-18, of typical Rothe WW1 period manufacture, with excellent details and fine quality enamels, with "iron crown" embedded into Lombard Crown. Hardly worn, in extremely fine condition. With original sash ribbon, and very attractive.
