Medal is die struck in silver, measuring 31mm, unmarked however exhibiting the manufacturing characteristics of V. Mayer, worn, with old ribbon, very good condition. Medal for heroism was awarded to officers and men for exceptional bravery, and is scarcer then bravery medal.
