Badge of typical WW1 period German manufacture, constructed of two in die struck pieces soldered together, in silver, silver gilt, with hollow center; badge measures 44.65mm x 76.6mm, it weighs only 22.2 grams, unmarked, of excellent quality manufacture, slightly worn, in extremely fine condition and rare.
