A West-Wall Medal with Packet of Issue

This is a very nicely preserved West-Wall medal with packet of issue; in zinc; loop for ribbon suspension; original ribbon; measuring 45 mm x 33 mm; paper packet of issue; printed in black ink “Deutsches Schutzwall Ehrenzeichen” on the front; with the maker’s stamped removed on the reverse; measuring 105 mm x 58 mm; mint condition.

Footnote: Maker labels has been purposefully removed/cut from the packet. This was done by factory workers who would sell awards to American GI’s post war who wanted to keep the award origin hidden.
