A Large & Fine Artist’s Rendition of an SA-Member of the Sturmbann II/13 Tempelhof

Item #G26395

$125
This is a very fine contemporary (wartime/period) rendition of an SA-Member of the Sturmbann II/13 Tempelhof. It is painted on cardstock, first roughly sketched in pencil and then coloured in watercolour, with multiple hues of browns and reds. The sketch is extremely well executed, depicting an SA-Mann in full “Brownshirt” parade uniform, holding a national banner. Attention is drawn by the artist to the SA-Mann’s head and banner through vivid details, while the man’s body and background remain a secondary objective of the artist. Ideal for framing. Measuring 313 mm x 244mm; better than extremely fine condition, without obvious signs of age or wear, and colours remaining bright and vivid. Perfect for framing and unique.
