A Luftwaffe Hermann Göring Panzer Division EM/NCO’s Overseas Cap

This is a textbook example of a Luftwaffe Göring Panzer Division Feldmütze constructed of black herringbone twill (HBT), with fold-down side and back panels with gently sloping, downward scallops to the front. The front of the cap features a machine embroidered Luftwaffe eagle patch in grey cotton threads, mounted on a matching black wool backer. The eagle appears original to the cap and is hand stitched into place. The interior of the cap is fully lined with a cotton/rayon blended fabric, and is marked “Lieferant Albert Kempf, Ronsdorf, 1939 56” in black ink. The cap measures 275 mm x 105 mm and is very well preserved with nearly no significant signs of wear. Overall extremely fine condition.
