Aminiature Luftwaffe Fallschirmjäger Parachutist paratrooper badge “Fallschirmschützenabzeichen” stickpin; in zink with a gilded eagle; 49 mm pin; unmarked; measuring 18 mm x 14 mm; better than very fine condition.

Footnote: The Fallschirmschützenabzeichen was established by Hermann Göring on September 1st, 1937 and was awarded to parachutists of the Luftwaffe following the completion of their parachute training, and after having done six jumps. It was also awarded to Waffen-SS soldiers of the 500, 501, and the 502 SS-Parachute Battalions with the same requirements.
