Die-stamped silvered iron, magnetic, 25.3 mm x 34 mm, missing all four of its prongs, surface wear, very fine.
Footnote: The Stalingrad Cross was issued to the 134th Infantry Regiment, part of the Reichsgrenadier Division Hoch und Deutschmeister (formerly the 44th Infantry Division), who was a part of the 6th Army at Stalingrad. The unit was virtually destroyed at Stalingrad in 1942.
