Printed in black and orange inks on an off-white paper stock, with a gummed reverse, illustrating the NSB (Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging in Nederland = National Socialist Movement) wolfsengel on a shield, inscribed "De Dietsche Militie Zwarte Brigade" above and "HOU-ZEE !" below, 40 mm x 59 mm, extremely fine.

Footnote: The Flemish VNV Vlaamsch Nationaal Verbond (Flemish National Union) party had a voluntary uniformed militia unit known as the DM-ZB (Dietsche Militie-Zwarte Brigade = Netherlandish Militia Black Brigade), which were their version of the German SA, Sturm Abteilung, (Storm/Assault Detachment). In May 1942, the DM-ZB introduced conscription and service in at least one of the VNV’s sections, which became obligatory.
