A very fine Iron Cross 1939 Second Class; two piece construction; silver frame; snug blackened magnetic iron core; loop for suspension; original ribbon; measuring 43.81 mm x 43.59 mm. Original paper packet of issue with “Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse 1939” (Iron Cross 2nd Class 1939) printed in black ink on the obverse, and “Josef Feix & Söhne, Gablonz a.d.N.” printed in black ink on the reverse; measuring 130 mm x 103 mm; near mint/mint condition without any major signs of age or use.
