Two Second War Corporate Donations War Effort Badges; Published Examples

Fullsize: bronze gilt with red, white, green, light blue and dark blue enamels, maker marked "C LAMONDS FILS" (C. Lamonds and Brothers of Montreal) on the reverse, 22.5 mm x 54.5 mm, horizontal pinback; and Miniature: bronze gilt with red, white, green, light blue and dark blue enamels, unmarked, 14.5 mm x 34.7 mm, horizontal pinback. Intact enamels, extremely fine.

Footnote: These badges were given in receipt of donations from corporations for the war effort. The larger ones came with a certificate for large donations. These badges appear together on page 126 of "Eagles Recalled" by Warren Carroll and come from his personal collection.
