This is an extraordinary speech to the Third Army Troops delivered by General George S. Patton. It is intended to raise the moral of the troops prior to an assault by emphasizing truly American values, as well as the importance and value of each individual soldier. It uses strong language as is usual for Patton, who was legendary among American GI’s for his bluntness. The document is machine-typed on thin paper and measures 204 mm x 292 mm. The two pages, stapled together via a single staple placed on the top right corner, are very well preserved and feature black ink that is easy to read. Overall extremely fine condition.
