This is a fine quality manufacture silver grade wound badge; manufactured in silvered zink; vertical pinback; maker marked “107” (Carl Wild, Hamburg); measuring 44 mm x 36 mm; weighing 24.9 grams; silvering about 60% intact - mostly worn off on the left side. Original packet of issue; the obverse marked “Verwundeten Abzeichen Silver” (Wound Badge Silver); the reverse maker marked “Carl Wild, Metallwarenfabrik, Hamburg 24”; measuring 92 mm x 62 mm; overall near extremely fine condition.
