A Case of an Air Gunner and Flight Engineer Badge

This is an original case of issue for an Air Gunner’s and Flight Engineer’s badge (Fliegerschützenabzeichen für Bordschützen und Bordmechaniker); constructed of blue leatherette, with a dark blue recessed medal bed; with push-button closure (however, it is sized and inoperable), interior fabric hinge perfectly intact, however, the exterior metal hinge is seized due to corrosion, thus allowing the case to only open partially; measuring 75 mm x 82 mm; overall better than fine condition due to rusted hinge and seized closure-button - otherwise the exterior is extremely well preserved.
