A Scarce Complete Set of Luftwaffe Insignia of an Oberleutnant Retired in the Flak Regiment No. 49

A scarce, complete, and matching set of Luftwaffe insignia belonging to a Senior Lieutenant retired in the Flak Regiment No. 49; fine quality manufacture of four rows of aluminum bullion wire cords, wrapped in a U-shape, in a chevron formation with the outer edge with blue wool piping and a bright red wool backer; with one gilded aluminum rank pip each, as well as the numbers “49”; buttonholes for uniform attachment with two non-matching silvered pebbled aluminum buttons; with complete reverse flaps on both; measuring 104 mm x 31 mm; mint and unissued condition with a single moth hole in one of the reverse flaps and the red wool backing. With matching collar tab pair; with bright red felt uppers, silver/aluminum wreathing and with two gulls ; edges trimmed with blue piping and fine twisted aluminum wire; standard buckram core; measuring 57 mm x 42 mm; extremely/near mint condition.
