Oberleutnant Hans-Joachim Marseille (black and white, matte finish, obverse illustrating Marseille wearing his Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords, inscribed "Oberleutnant MARSEILLE" at the lower left, reverse coded "R 38", maker marked "Photo-Hoffmann, München, Friedrichstr. 34" and marked "Nachdruck verboten" (Reproduction Prohibited), with postcard-style backer and stamped with an insignia in faded blue ink, 91 mm x 140 mm); and Oberfeldwebel Walter Ohlrogge (black and white, matte finish, obverse illustrating Ohlrogge wearing his Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross, inscribed "Oberfeldwebel OHLROGGE" at the lower right, reverse coded "1567", maker marked "Photo-Hoffmann, München, Friedrichstr. 34" and marked "Nachdruck verboten" (Reproduction Prohibited), with postcard-style backer and stamped in blue ink "Linsmayer München 13 Daimler-Str. 1", 91 mm x 140 mm). Light soiling on the reverse of Ohlrogge's postcard, both are slightly curled, near extremely fine.
