This is a Second War German Anker-Werke A.G (Bielefeld) factory employee tag; in aluminum; reverse numbered “110556”; measuring 35 mm; in used but overall very fine condition.
Footnote: The Anker-Werke A.G Bielefeld was founded in 1876 and produced sewing machines, cash registers, and bicycles. During the 1930’s, the factories produced small motorcycles using a reinforced bicycle frame and a 1.25HP engine. During the war, the small engine was replaced with a 2.25HP engine.
