A First War Bavarian medal bar with three awards, consisting of 1) An Iron Cross 1914 Second Class; two piece construction with a silver frame and a blackened iron (magnetic) core; unmarked; measuring 43.77 mm x 43.30 mm; loop for suspension. 2) A Bavarian Order of Military Merit Third Class with Swords; in bronze; pebbled arms; measuring 44.70 mm x 40.96 mm; on loop for suspension without crown. 3) A Honour Cross of the First War (Hindenburg Cross) with swords; in bronzed metal (magnetic); maker marked “AD. B. L.” (Adolf Baumeister, Lüdenscheid) on reverse; measuring 37.14 mm x 36.97 mm; on loop for suspension; all with original ribbons mounted German-style on a 105 mm x 36 mm medal bar with horizontal pinback; slight soiling on the ribbons from age and wear but overall very fine condition.
