An Iron Cross 1939 Second Class with Original Packet of Issue; Non-Magnetic Type

A fine quality manufacture Iron Cross 1939 Second Class; two-piece construction with a silver frame and a blackened brass (non-magnetic) core (slightly loose); on loop for suspension (unmarked); with original mint and unused long ribbon; measuring 43.81 mm x 43.84 mm; weighing 17.9 grams; near mint condition with the black paint nicely preserved and attractive even patina on the frame. Original packet of issue with “Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse 1939” printed in Gothic script on the obverse in black ink; measuring 131 mm x 101 mm; mint condition.
