An Iron Cross 1914 Second Class; two piece construction with a silver frame and a blackened iron core (magnetic); on loop for suspension (marked KO for Königliches Münzamt, Berlin); with correct replacement ribbon; measuring 43.12 mm x 42.95 mm; weighing 15.5 grams. Miniature in silver with black paint; measuring 15.32 mm x 15.34 mm; weighing 2.5 grams; overall extremely fine condition with the core nicely preserved with light contact marks, and attractive patina on the cross.
