A mint and extremely well preserved Iron Cross 1939 Second Class with attractive dark patina; two-piece construction with a silver frame and a magnetic blackened iron core; on loop for suspension; with mint period original ribbon; measuring 44.65 mm x 44.50 mm; weighing 20.2 grams; mint condition with dark original patina. In its original case of issue; cardstock with a black faux leather exterior; strong exterior faux leather hinge; interior of the lid embossed “LDO”; measuring 79 mm x 70 mm; mint condition.
