An American Manila Bay Medal (AKA Dewey Medal)

Re-strike in Blackened bronze, engraver marked "D.C. FRENCH" (Daniel Chester French) on the obverse, marked "USS BALTIMORE" on the reverse, original naming on the edge has been shaved, 45.5 mm, smaller rings linking the medal to the hanger suspension, original ribbon, correct period brooch, light contact and surface wear, edge nicks, near extremely fine.
