A Croatian King Zvonimir Award Document to a Kriegsmarine Officer

Awarded to Kapitänleutnant Johannes de Boer - and dated 9. June 1944; for the Award of Order of King Zvonimir 3d Class with Swords; awarded for the "Because, as a Captain of Port of Rijeka (Fiume) from February of 1944 he assissted greatly Croatiamn Armed Forces and Civil authorities in the City". A large formal document, measures 28cm x 36cm, with seal at the bottom, and original signature of Minister of Armed Forces Ustaša Colonel Ante Vokić on lower left, and on right bottom side by General Percevic. Folded, in very fine condition and rare to a Kriegsmarine Officer. Together with an unofficial, likely locally and hand made produced document, essentially translating Croatian document into German language. Folded, slight tears, in worn condition.
