An American Silver Star with Case

Two-piece construction, silver star placed upon a bronze gilt star-shaped base, 34.5 mm x 36.5 mm, lightly soiled original ribbon with brooch pinback, scattered silvering wear on the star and gilt wear on the star-shaped base, better than very fine. Accompanied by its 12.3 mm x 35.5 mm Ribbon Bar with pinback and its 3.5 mm x 17 mm enamelled Ribbon Bar with button hole attachment, in its hardshelled case of issue, marked "SILVER STAR MEDAL" on the lid, case near mint.
