A Mint Feldgendarmerie (Army Military Field Police) Gorget

This is an excellent example of this desirable and sought after gorget; Both the gorget as well as it's accompanying chain are made entirely of die-stamped steel with their silvering completely intact, a spread-winged Army eagle and both buttons are painted in a white radium paint, gray-painted ribbon banner with raised radium painted letters, the ribbon banner inscribed "Feldgendarmerie", gorget measures 75 mm x 162 mm, with a smooth brown-coloured leather backer, unmarked, 627 mm long multi-link chain, near mint.
